Prepare for music examinations
Whether you want to play for fun or prepare for an upcoming music exam, Chris is here to help. If you want to take exams, he will help you to prepare the pieces and provide training for the keyboard tests, aural tests, theory of music, and organise an examination date for you.
Pupils can choose to take exams with ABRSM, RCO, RSCM, LCM, Trinity College, Victoria College or any other examining board of their choice. Chris has a 100% success rate in all the music examinations. Lessons are personalised to suit each pupil's needs. Take a look at the testimonials

A brilliant musician and music teacher
Chris studied organ with Dr James Lancelot and Daniel Cook at Durham Cathedral. He has formally studied composition, harmony, keyboard harmony including figured bass and harmonisation of hymn tune melody at sight, counterpoint, fugue, transcription, aural perception and history of music with Professor Jeremy Dibble of Durham University. His qualifications include the following:
