Prepare for music examinations

Whether you want to play for fun or prepare for an upcoming music exams, Chris' expertise will help you to achieve the satisfaction and the relaxation that music brings. If you want to take exams, he will help you to prepare the pieces and provide training for the keyboard tests, aural tests, and theory of music, and organise an examination date for you.

Pupils can choose to take exams with ABRSM, RCO, RSCM, LCM, Trinity College, Victoria College or any other examining board of their choice. We have a 100% success rate in all the music examinations. A brilliant musician and music teacher

Chris studied Organ with James Lancelot at Durham Cathedral. He has formally studied composition, harmony, keyboard harmony including figured bass and harmonisation of hymn tune melody at sight, counterpoint, fugue, transcription, aural perception and history of music with Professor Jeremy Dibble of Durham University. He has also read Physics at Durham University. His qualifications include the following:
